coming in at No.3 is LEONA LEWIS
Smooth sailing at No.4 is LYFE JENNINGS with a total of 80,000 copies sold.
THE ROOTS coming in this week at the No.6 spot
LIL MAMA debuts this week coming in at No.25 surprisingly selling a total of only 18,300 copies
RICK ROSS falls down nine spots to No. 26. Pushing 18,300 copies of Trilla this week Alicia Keys has dropped eight spots to No. 32. Selling 16,600 copies of As I Am this week
This one was a surprise to me ESTELLE debuts at No.38 selling a disappointing 14,900 copies
and this one doesn't surprise me one bit FLO RIDA rides the chart elevator all the way down falling 22 spots coming in at No.49
I predict Madonna will remain The Queen for a minute and Lyfe Jennings will knock Leona Lewis and possibly Mariah out of their spots next week.

FREDOM FEST 2008-FOR IMIGRANT WORKERS RIGHTS AND SEAN BELL

My people, mi gente...as I discussed on Episode 130, I hosted the Freedom Fest 2008 event this past Thurday at the Bowery Poetry Club. It was an amazing event , we were there black and brown tribes repping for Immigrant workers rights and for Sean Bell. Dj Disco Wiz and Dj Chela spinning on the ones and two. There were performances of some of the illest underground Mc's in the game right now. SUPA NOVA SLOM , NYOIL, REBEL DIAZ and a performance by KALUNGA NEG MAWON a dance group devoted to preserving Afro culture through music and dance. EMMA RAMOS from E2K MAGAZINE and IVAN SANCHEZ were in the house. Guerilla Repulik was repping hard and of course all the wonderful people who came to witness some of the illest performances and hear Mc's who speak truth and give knowlegde to the people.

My people,mi gente...After years of at first, denial, and then friendship,then traveling across the globe together to the admission that they were a couple, Jay-Z and Beyonce have finally tied the knot and then had a lavish party in their Tribeca penthouse with close friends and family including actress Gwenyth Paltrow. And I for one am happy for the couple and can't wait for Baby Jay or Beyonce! The power couple reportedly wed early Friday afternoon.

A source tells PEOPLE that Amy's Orchids was hired to provide 50,000 to 60,000 white orchid blooms from Thailand for a "big party." At the apartment, waiters were seen practicing their service.

Leaving Danity Kane to slip and slide on down three spots to No.4selling about 88,700 units.

Twisting and turning their way up six spots to the No.12 spot is Gnarls Barkley selling 28,900 copies of their second album Odd Couple.
