Cuban Reggaeton Star Elvis Manuel Missing
Cuban reggaeton star Elvis Manuel is believed to be in the custody of the Coast Guard at this time, although it has not been confirmed. Apparently the dude was frustrated with his music situation in Cuba, recently stating:“My music is everywhere, but I don’t have a cent to buy something to eat.”
During a performance on April 4, someone tossed a tear gas bomb onto the stage to put an end to his concert. Feeling the pressure of constantly being censored, Elvis decided to risk it all and head out to Miami.

2008 Latin Billboard Awards Quick Wrap Up
For those who may of not known this week was the week of the 2008 Latin Billboard Awards. Although we rep Hip Hop, we also rep Latinos world wide so here is a break down of what popped.Jimmy Flavorr performed and tore the house down. Word is that the editors of Billboard Magazine (Leila and some others) want to feature him on the next edition of the magazine.
Latin Album of The Year went to Daddy Yankee.
Hot Latin Song of the Year was "Pegao" - Wisin y Yandel f/ Los Vaqueros
A singer by the name of Juan Luis Guerra dominates Latin Billboards with 3 awards.
