Know that it is the holiday season it truly is refreshing to hear about good deeds being done in the community.

Rapper Master P. and Actor Mark Wahlberg have teamed with Reachback LA and OneMillionGifts.org to serve meals in an area of Los Angeles known for crime and gang violence.

Reachback LA’s founder expressed enthusiasm about the impact the event will have on the surrounding communities.

"Growing up in this community has been tough but I’ve been able to overcome obstacles,” Chico Brown said. “It’s wonderful to be able to give back and see the smiles on so many kids’ faces just happy to be able to have a Thanksgiving dinner.”

The event will take place from 4PM-7PM at 1773 East Century Blvd. in Los Angeles.

I'm very proud of Master P. and Mark Wahlberg for giving back to the community. Many people might sit back and make statements, on how since they have money that they are obligated to share with the public, but how many celebrities have money and don't even think of the person next to them. Master P. and Mark Wahlberg on there grown man status and since they're older know they are about handeling business.

This is truly a story about two good dudes contributing to a cause that is worth while. Much props and respect to the both of them. In my opinion they are teaching the next generation of celebrities how they should present themselves.
