The Revolution Will Be Podcast, Webcast & Blogged About

I wrote a blog eleven months ago for SiTV, back when SiTV was cultivating Latino talent, about the reality of the recession when it was falsely being billed as an “economic slow down,” by experts.
I didn’t need to be an expert to see that the most responsible people around me were losing their jobs, homes and in some cases… their sanity. I just needed to be paying attention.
An interesting email from a professor at Fordham University, Dr. Mark Naison, led me right back to the blog titled “They Say it’s Not a Recession… It’s a Slowdown.”
Dr. Naison called my blog “prophetic” and informed me that the so called experts – I’d love to call them something else – are saying the recession actually began in November of 2007, two months prior to my blog.
Thanks for the update experts at reporting what we already know!
If you’re interested in reading the blog click here and send me a message letting me know what you think.
Here’s what I think:
I think that President Bush and his criminal band of brothers raped not only this country but they raped the world. They raped the global economy and all those little countries like France, China, Japan and Europe who believed in our foundation enough to invest trillions of dollars into our manufacturing, our infrastructure and our banking systems.
And where are they all now?
The investors are all jumping off the tallest buildings they can find…
People like me can’t retire until they’re 125 years old because we’ve lost over 50 percent of our 401K…
And Bush and his band of bad ass bandit misfits have hidden all of our money!
They personally robbed me of thousands of dollars in fuel costs when I was driving back and forth over the last eighteen months trying to save the underserved youth of New York.
And make no mistake about it… I’m pissed off!
I need you all to understand that I don’t use the word raped lightly because it’s a word that at a mere mention makes the skin on any real man crawl.
But that’s exactly what Bush and his unpatriotic traitor oil tycoon gazillionaires did to the world… I repeat they raped us all and no one made a sound. You could hear a pin drop…
And then when the country could take no more… when the world was about to implode I could miraculously fill my car up for $20.00.
When I spoke to the owner of a small mom and pop Pizza shop, Sal Bella’s in Virginia Beach, he said the most intelligent and sad thing I’ve heard in a long time…
He said, “When I saw a husband and wife share “one” slice of pizza and “one” cup of soda many months ago. I knew at that moment that we were in a recession… that we were in trouble.”
I don’t know about any of you… But my ass is sore!

Ivan,
excellent post, thank you!
I live in Finland, one of those European countries that got raped. There's a sort of awakening going on over here; people are finally starting to see what's really happening in the world. I'm afraid these people are still a very small minority -- but still I'm convinced the number of awakened people is higher than ever before. Something is definitely happening, and it's not bad at all.
I think we the people all around the world must unite and stop this madness -- right now. Instead of the kind of one world government the NWO pundits are trying to force in, we can create something completely new and different. We need to start communicating and networking more efficiently, and do it globally. The problems we're facing are global. We can easily fix them if we work together.
I think there's not a moment to loose. The sooner we act, the smaller the damages of the financial collapse will be. I don't mean we should revive this corrupt system, but replace it with something that really works for the people, not against them.
Take care!

Jyri,
At the end of the day we the people of the global economy allowed this to happen right under our noses when we didn’t shutdown every gas station in the world.
Problem is – if we couldn’t drive to work – or I couldn’t drive to NY to spread my message of hope – or we couldn’t fly or use some other form of transportation that required gas – we couldn’t live.
They hit us where it hurt most and when everything collapsed in on itself – again, gas was all of a sudden very affordable. The problem is they hit us for so long, so hard that by the time they ran with all the money… The whole world had been devastated… And not it will take years to turn things around… And we will never recoup the money they stole from us.
They should be arrested and tried as criminals of the world! They being the oil tycoons who recorded record profits while saying they didn’t have the supply to meet the demand…
The revolution should have began when we “first” realized it was happening. Instead we complained but took no action!
Now we have to hope for better days ahead!
Keep in touch…
