Bernie Mac, the comedian whose humor most of us fell in love with during Russell Simmons Def Jam Comedy has died in a Chicago hospital at 50-years-old according to published reports by the NY Daily News.

Mac made famous to the Hip Hop movement for his infamous line, “I ain’t scared of you motherf#$%ers,” lost his life to pneumonia even though he was reportedly on the road to recovery.

In recent years Mac has been in major box office hits such as “Ocean’s Eleven,” “Charlie’s Angels” & “Transformers.” And will be remembered most for his always humorous narrative comedy “The Bernie Mac Show.”

He will surely be missed and the EG Radio family would like to extend our thoughts and prayers to his family, friends and fans.
