The Puerto Rican day parade is next month..

Every second sunday of June, Puerto Ricans from all 5 boroughs and beyond migrate to Manhattan to help celebrate Puerto Rican heritage. The crowds are always loud with their pride as the many floats ride by the parade route. It is the biggest parade in N.Y.C. You can hear salsa music booming from all over as the people joyously dance on the sidewalks. To get a good view some families arrive really early so that they can catch a good glimpse or more. I don't know if they still sell food anymore but i remember when they use to have dollar shots. I always brought beer in a bag pack along with Ras so we were always tipsy. One year we went i went to take a leak in the bushes and during that time Fat Joe came up to Ras and chatted with him. Can you believe i missed that encounter because i was peeing a river. I say river because a midget almost drowned in my pee. I think i also killed off the bush. Their are always a few knuckledhead gangs that parade around representing themselves. E.G will be representing hard so look out for the float. 40Master
