Happy Mother's Day!

With Mother's Day among us I wanted to take the time to thank all the Mother's out there in the world. A mother to me is the one who suffers when her child is ill, a mother is the one who will go to bat with anyone who messes with her kid, a mother is the one who is there in the hospital or doctor's office with her child to hold their hand and assure that things are going to be alright. Just because you push a kid out doesn't make you a mother. A mother is the one who stays up at night with their child who is burning up in fever, the one who takes and picks up their children to school then makes sure that the homework is done. Mothers are "not" perfect, but they are special. I use to think my mother was a pain in the ass, but today I think my mother is the strongest, most protective, person I know and I am who I am today because of the way my mother was with me. At an earlier time I didn't understand, but know that I am a PROUD mother of three young boys I look back and see so much of my mother in me, and although my mother won't get to read this; I wanted to put it out there for all the true Mothers who sacrifice their lives for the well being of their children and let them know they are appreciated. Mommy thank you and I love you more than you'll ever know. Happy Mother's Day!
