City Wide Boycott Of Sean Bell Verdict

As I reported two days ago, Al Sharpton is leading a City Wide Boycott of the Sean Bell verdict. He is calling on citizens of New York City to come together for a day of active protests throughout the city. Sharpton and the National Action Network have organized a citywide “pray in” in six locations across Manhattan and Brooklyn. The locations are as follows: 125Th Street and 3rd Ave, Park Avenue and 34Th Street, 60Th Street and 3rd Avenue, One Police Plaza, Varick and Houston Street, and in Brooklyn, House of the Lord Pentecostal Church located at 415 Atlantic Avenue. At each location, protesters are asked to get down on their knees in prayer, leading to a citywide slowdown. The entrances to the Midtown Tunnel, the Holland Tunnel, and the Triborough Bridge are to be affected. Nicole Paultre-Bell, Joseph Guzman, Trent Benefield, and Sharpton will lead the afternoon protests from One Police Plaza, the NYPD headquarter in Manhattan, starting at 3:00 PM.
