My people, mi gente...We all love it when an underdog or person in an unfortunate situation comes out a winner and this story is no less than amazing. Carl Hunter is a construction company owner who lost both his homes to Hurricane Katrina. Carl , a regular powerball player had already purchased a ticket on the morning of Jan 16th when his wife called him and asked him to buy some milk. He brought the milk and with his last dollar he brought his second powerball ticket little did he know that he was holding a $97 million dollar ticket. As the cameras surrounded the estatic couple they said they had no immediate plans for the money but they do plan to focus on their retirement and rebuilding a camp lost to Hurricane Katrina. God bless the Hunters, enjoy! louisianna powerball lottery winnerhurricane katrina victim wins $97 million powerball lottery E.G Radio, ExtravaGangsta Radio,
I don't think Bobby Brown and Whitney meant to start a trend when they got married in the 90's. They are now getting divorced but they were the Jackie Robinson of black power couples. I think Alicia Keys might want to remake that song called "Unbreakable" that was on her latest album. She just about jinxed every pair she named in that song. Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are the lastest to get hitched. Nick Cannon just hit the lotto on this one. He just about topped the achievements of Jermaine Dupree. Jermaine might propose as we speak just to go ahead. What was Mariah thinking? Nick Cannon is no Denzel girl. Jay-Z and Beyonce have the best shot of making it past 5 years. My prediction is that Nick will become the black K-Fed. He just has to knock her up quickly and forever be in her life. It's a shame that people are getting married for publicity reasons. 40Master E.G Radio, ExtravaGangsta Radio,
With Mother's Day among us I wanted to take the time to thank all the Mother's out there in the world. A mother to me is the one who suffers when her child is ill, a mother is the one who will go to bat with anyone who messes with her kid, a mother is the one who is there in the hospital or doctor's office with her child to hold their hand and assure that things are going to be alright. Just because you push a kid out doesn't make you a mother. A mother is the one who stays up at night with their child who is burning up in fever, the one who takes and picks up their children to school then makes sure that the homework is done. Mothers are "not" perfect, but they are special. I use to think my mother was a pain in the ass, but today I think my mother is the strongest, most protective, person I know and I am who I am today because of the way my mother was with me. At an earlier time I didn't understand, but know that I am a PROUD mother of three young boys I look back and see so much of my mother in me, and although my mother won't get to read this; I wanted to put it out there for all the true Mothers who sacrifice their lives for the well being of their children and let them know they are appreciated. Mommy thank you and I love you more than you'll ever know. Happy Mother's Day!

This young talented brother is the opening act in Kanye West's "Glow In The Dark" tour. He might be warming up the stage for Kanye but he is a superstar in his own right. He has hinted that his next album might be his last. This tuesday the tour will be making a stop at "Madison Square Garden". On wednesday night they will hit S.O.B's in Manhattan. He might not be selling like 50 cent but then again he's not a marketing ploy like fitty. I think the truest form of Hip-hop will always survive the trends and fads. True Hip-hop and creativity will outlive the commercialism ploys that invade the culture every now and then. Flo-rider is one example of that. Where has he been? The elevator cord must of snapped. E.G's co-host AC has that type of talent that can transcend race while still representing his heritage. Did you know that Lupe, Kanye and Pharrell willams formed a group in 2007 called "Child rebel Soldier". E.G Radio, ExtravaGangsta Radio,
Rapper Lil Wayne is getting alot of radio airplay which makes it really annoying. Every 5 seconds his records are getting played. First of all he looks like "The Predator" and his flow is wack. Can somebody please call "The Governator" and ask him to take him out. That cough medicine might be damaging his voice because he sounds like a frog. This guy is severely overrated and sounds like he has pleghm. I would rather hear K-Fed rap about his kids. Anybody who hangs out with a dude that calls himself "Baby" deserves to get locked up. May the judge be easy with him but sentence him to do communtiy service in Angola. I'm out. 40Master E.G Radio, ExtravaGangsta Radio,
First of all this bitch right here needs a fucking beating for disrespecting her elders. Public Transportation in the ATL have issued a warrant for the arrest of a young woman known as “Soulja Girl” after she was seen violently harassing an elderly woman on a subway line. She is caught rapping Soulja Boys lyrics and yelling profanity at the elderly woman, she goes on to say “Yaaa, nigga, yaaa” and “I’ma beat you’re ass on this train.” She also calls the lady a hoe and a bitch while threatening to kill her. I would love to meet this young ladies mother because such disrespect is uncalled for. Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA), has launched an immediate and aggressive investigation into the incident. One of the men objecting to her actions on the train yanked at Soulja Girl’s weave after she accused him of raping her. This chick is a hot ghetto mess, and she needs to get caught and put behind bars.

My people , mi gente...T.I. talks with B.E.T about his life as a drug dealer and seeking solice in his rap music and the affect his friend Big Phil's death had on his life. He also acknowledges that he should have done a better job of getting out of the streets. Only thing I don't get is when he says Money doesn't change anything??? Que? Shit it would change a whole hell of alot of people's lives if they came into T.I.'s money or status. I don't know why the streets have such a strong pull on our youth. T.I or TIP, who will stay on the music scene? I must give him credit for blaming himself, not society not his friends. He's maned up. Check it out

Every second sunday of June, Puerto Ricans from all 5 boroughs and beyond migrate to Manhattan to help celebrate Puerto Rican heritage. The crowds are always loud with their pride as the many floats ride by the parade route. It is the biggest parade in N.Y.C. You can hear salsa music booming from all over as the people joyously dance on the sidewalks. To get a good view some families arrive really early so that they can catch a good glimpse or more. I don't know if they still sell food anymore but i remember when they use to have dollar shots. I always brought beer in a bag pack along with Ras so we were always tipsy. One year we went i went to take a leak in the bushes and during that time Fat Joe came up to Ras and chatted with him. Can you believe i missed that encounter because i was peeing a river. I say river because a midget almost drowned in my pee. I think i also killed off the bush. Their are always a few knuckledhead gangs that parade around representing themselves. E.G will be representing hard so look out for the float. 40Master E.G Radio, ExtravaGangsta Radio,

My people, mi gente.... All hail the new Queen of The Charts La MADONNA takes over the No1 spot his week scanning a total of 280,000 copies. Madonna really is a Lucky Star, luck and Justin Timberlake on a track doesn't hurt either. La MADONNA has knocked La Mariah aka Mrs. Cannon out of the box and has taken over the number one spot leaving Mariah at No.2. coming in at No.3 is LEONA LEWIS Smooth sailing at No.4 is LYFE JENNINGS with a total of 80,000 copies sold. THE ROOTS coming in this week at the No.6 spot LIL MAMA debuts this week coming in at No.25 surprisingly selling a total of only 18,300 copies RICK ROSS falls down nine spots to No. 26. Pushing 18,300 copies of Trilla this week Alicia Keys has dropped eight spots to No. 32. Selling 16,600 copies of As I Am this week This one was a surprise to me ESTELLE debuts at No.38 selling a disappointing 14,900 copies and this one doesn't surprise me one bit FLO RIDA rides the chart elevator all the way down falling 22 spots coming in at No.49 I predict Madonna will remain The Queen for a minute and Lyfe Jennings will knock Leona Lewis and possibly Mariah out of their spots next week.
El aceroso Mr. Kelly is seeking to have his trail delayed once more. The 40 year old sucio has been indicted on child pornography charges back in June 2002 for "allegedly" videotaping himself having sex with an underage girl, who at the time could have been 13 years old. If found guilty (which
